Arizona sports betting is scheduled to launch on September 9 when the NFL season kicks off with the Buccaneers and Cowboys. The Arizona Department of Gaming rushed to enact legal sports betting in a short period, and they were successful.

Even though mobile betting is going to be available throughout the state, retail sportsbooks will still be popular for people looking to enjoy the games. One of the nicest sports betting facilities in the state will be in downtown Phoenix, thanks to a partnership between Caesars Entertainment and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

On Wednesday, the two conglomerates revealed their plans for the retail sportsbook, and it’s going to be an epic gaming facility.

Details of the Sportsbook

Caesars Entertainment and the Arizona Diamondbacks revealed the plans for their state-of-the-art sportsbook on September 1, adding extra excitement to the upcoming launch on the ninth. The property will feature a sportsbook, sports bar, and broadcast studio for exclusive sports betting and daily fantasy sports broadcasts.

The building will open in early 2022, and it will be located at the former Game 7 Grill location outside of Chase Field. The facility will be very attractive to bettors, but people who are not looking to wager will also have a positive experience at the property.

The sportsbook will span 20,000 square feet over two stories with both indoor and outdoor seating. There will be plenty of places to view every sporting event being covered on Caesars Sportsbook.

The two stories will have many great features like full-service bars, VIP lounges, tons of great food options, and hundreds of televisions. The retail sportsbook will be open year-round, including all gamedays for the D-backs.

It will also have varying hours for large sporting events. If there is a major event occurring in the late hours or early morning, Caesars Sportsbook in downtown Phoenix is going to open its doors.

Excitement for the Property

When sports betting begins on September 9, the retail property will not be open. Nevertheless, people in the state can still place retail wagers at ticket windows 21-25 outside of Chase Field. This will be the first MLB stadium where fans can place sports bets, but more will likely add this option in the future.

As the opening of the sportsbook approaches, there will be five betting kiosks available to use outside the property. Eric Hession, co-president of Caesars Digital, spoke after the initial plans for the sportsbook were revealed.

“Caesars Sportsbook at Chase Field will bring to life the vision of our brand by celebrating the Caesars promise of treating everyone like royalty. These renderings provide a taste of what this incredible new venue will offer, but there’s so much more we can’t wait to show Arizona customers when the space officially opens. Sports bettor or not, we’re hoping fans will visit to enjoy an unbeatable experience.”

People in Arizona can download Caesars Sportsbook for early registration and place deposits. Caesars is currently running a promotion giving bettors a risk-free bet up to $5,000. Additionally, if bettors place $100 in NFL bets by September 30, they will receive a $150 gift card to NFLShop.com.
