Major League Baseball’s Arizona Diamondbacks has signed a new partnership alliance with a local casino operator. Casino Arizona and its sister venue, Talking Stick Resort, are now the official casino and resort partner of the MLB franchise.

The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community own and operate the two venues. VIP experiences involving the Arizona Diamondbacks will be offered to casino guests with the partnership deal.

With such partnership deals, the home site of the MLB team will highlight the gambling company they are working with. In this instance, Chase Field will add logos for Talking Stick Resort and Casino Arizona. The field is of course the home of the Diamondbacks.

Visitors will see such signage throughout the ballpark, including the insignias on the field. The Diamondbacks have plans to open a VIP lounge behind its visiting dugout for Casino Arizona. Guests will be able to visit the lounge and enjoy a customized experience on game day.

The partnership will also boost the Diamondback’s annual Native American Inter-Tribal Baseball and Softball Tournament, which takes place next week, as well as the Native American Recognition Day on May 29.

Director of Public Relations for Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort, Ramon Martinez, the company is always looking for like-minded organizations to team up with their enterprise. Casino Arizona has been working with the Diamondbacks for quite some time and looks forward to this extension of their relationship.

Diamondbacks President and CEO Derrick Hall commented on the new agreement, stating the team is thrilled to welcome the two operators to the family.

“The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community has long been a valued partner of the Arizona Diamondbacks, and I look forward to growing our relationship with Casino Arizona, creating memorable experiences for their guests at Chase Field, and impacting members of their community.”

The Diamondbacks have worked with the tribe for many years, having been part of establishing Salt River Fields, the first MLB facility to be constructed on Native American lands. The Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies use the facility for Spring Training every year.

Sports Betting at Chase Field

The new deal with Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort is just one way that the Arizona Diamondbacks are working with the gaming industry. Not long ago, the team decided to partner with Caesars Entertainment, naming the brand the team’s official corporate sponsor.

Caesars also partnered with Major League Baseball as the league’s Authorized Gaming Operator. In early September of last year, Caesars opened sports betting services within Chase Field. Fans can currently place bets at the field at ticket windows 21-25.

Of course, players can also log online and place wagers via the Caesars online app. There are also other sports betting apps offered in the state. Diamondback fans can place bets while attending games, which makes watching the matchups even more fun.

Chase Field will also soon be home to a retail sportsbook. Caesars has been working on an almost 20,000 square foot facility that will offer two stories of space. The sportsbook will be located in the former Game 7 Grill venue.

Sports fans will have access to indoor and outdoor seating along with wall-to-wall television screens for game viewing. Betting kiosks will be onsite so players can post their bets at any time. The plans also include a restaurant and bar.

Customers of the sportsbook do not have to have tickets to a Diamondbacks game to visit. Non-ticket holders can use a separate entrance.
