The conference season is over, and it’s bowl season in College Football. The bowl games will be getting started soon, and the Pac-12 has a nice slate of games to follow over a two week span. Here are the Pac-12 Bowl games, with their betting matchups for 2023:
UCLA Bruins vs. Boise State Broncos – LA Bowl – Saturday December 16th, 2023, 4:30pm PST
The UCLA Bruins will take on another West Coast team, as they battle the Boise State Broncos. The Bruins ended with a 7-5 record, losing in their season finale at home to California. Boise State was able to not only get to the Mountain West Conference title game, but also to win the game in Vegas over UNLV. The game will be played at SoFi, and it is early in the bowl season. This should be a fun one to watch to kick off the bowl season. UCLA is listed at -3.
California Golden Bears vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders – Independence Bowl – Saturday December 16th, 2023; 6:15pm PST
The California Golden Bears needed a 33-7 win to end the season to become bowl eligible. Their reward is a December 16th bowl game at Louisiana. They will take on a Texas Tech team that is coming off a 50 point loss in their season finale. The Red Raiders come into this game as a small favorite. Currently, Texas Tech is listed at -3, with the total at 58.5 points.
Utah Utes vs. Northwestern Wildcats – Las Vegas Bowl – Saturday December 23rd, 2023; 4:30pm PST
This is an interesting matchup in Las Vegas. The Utah Utes were a team that went to the Pac-12 title game a season ago. Utah finished with 8 wins, including a win over Colorado to end the season. The Utes were banged up with injuries, but very talented. Northwestern was projected to be one of the worst teams in College Football. The Wildcats won their final three games of the season, including over Illinois to end the season to garner 7 wins. The Utes are a favorite in this game, despite Devaughn Vele likely not playing.
USC Trojans vs. Louis Cardinals – Holiday Bowl – Wednesday December 27th, 2023; 5:00pm PST
As all of you already know by now Caleb Williams will not play in this game for USC. It is likely his time on campus at Southern California is over. It was a disappointing season for the Trojans. They will take on a Louisville team that mustered just six points in the season finale against Florida State. The Cardinals are favorites in this game, because they project to have more regular starters playing in this game. The Cardinals are -7.5 favorites, and the total is listed at 57.5.
Arizona Wildcats vs. Oklahoma Sooners – Alamo Bowl – Thursday December 28th, 2023; 6:15pm PST
Arizona will celebrate a really nice season in San Antonio against one of the better power five conference teams not to make a New Year’s Six bowl game. This is a big game for the face of Arizona football. The Wildcats are -3 in this game, as it appears Dillon Gabriel will not play for the Sooners. Arizona comes into the game on a six game winning streak, while the Sooners have just two losses on the season, and have won three straight games.
Oregon State Beavers vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish – Sun Bowl – Friday December 29th, 2023; 11:00am PST
A pair of Top 20 teams will get together in El Paso for this one. The Fighting Irish signal caller Sam Hartman is expected to play in this game; which will be his final college football game of his career. On the other side for the Beavers, they will not have the services of their starting quarterback D.J Uiagalelei, as he has entered the transfer portal. This appears to be a tough spot for the Beavers. They are +8.5 in this one.
Oregon Ducks vs. Liberty Flames – Fiesta Bowl – Monday January 1st, 2023; 10:00am PST
The Oregon Ducks come into this game with two losses on the season. Both of those losses came to Washington. Now, Bo Nix and his Ducks will look to finish strong with a Fiesta Bowl win over the unbeaten Liberty Flames. There is no doubt this is going to be a much bigger game for the Flames to play in. Nix is projected to play in this game, much like Hartman from Notre Dame, in his final game of his college career. The Oregon Ducks are -16 in this game over Liberty.
Washington Huskies vs. Texas Longhorns – Sugar Bowl – Monday January 1st, 2023; 5:45pm PST
The second game of the College Football Playoff. The winner will get either Michigan or Alabama in the title game. Michael Penix and his Washington Huskies taking on a tough, hard nosed Texas team. The Longhorns have just one loss, and that came in the Red River Rivalry game to the Oklahoma Sooners. Washington has yet to be beaten, along with Michigan, Florida State and Liberty. Look for both teams to have their style of play they are going to use, and not divert much from that. The Huskies are underdogs in this one. Texas is listed at -4.
There they are! Those are the Pac-12 games for the College Football bowl season. Enjoy the games, and best of luck with al your College Football bowl game betting.
