Sun Devils and Wildcats Both See First Pac-12 Foe of 2021

There have been some Pac-12 Conference games taking place over the first three weeks of the season, but things really start to heat up on Saturday. Both Arizona and Arizona State are set to face their first Pac-12 Conference opponent of the season, and that raises the stakes just a bit.

Arizona State host the Colorado Buffaloes in Week 4, and the Sun Devils are 14.5-point favorites in this matchup. Colorado has lost two straight games, while Arizona State is trying to bounce back from a loss in Week 3.

The Sun Devils were expected to compete in the Pac-12 this season, but losing by BYU last weekend raises some concerns. There is still a chance to capture a Pac-12 title, but Arizona State can no longer afford any losses.

Arizona comes into Week 3 with an 0-3 record, and the Wildcats are massive 28.5-point underdogs at Oregon on Saturday. The Ducks are now the number three ranked team in the latest AP poll, and they already have a win over Ohio State on their resume.

The Wildcats have been outscored by more than 11 points per game this season, and it’s hard to see them keep this game close at all. Winning even just one game in the Pac-12 Conference this season is going to be a challenge for the Wildcats.

Pac-12 Week 4 Games

The biggest Pac-12 Conference game of the weekend will take place in the state of California as Stanford hosts UCLA in a major rivalry game. The UCLA Bruins are 4.5-point favorites over Stanford, and the winner will stay atop the conference race.

Another tight game could take place in Washington as the Huskies host the California Golden Bears. Both teams are just 1-2 on the season up to this point, but the home team is a 7.5-point favorite on Saturday.

ON SATURDAY, the USC Trojans are 10.5-point favorites over the Oregon State Beavers in another game that will affect the conference title race. USC was supposed to be one of the favorites to win the conference, but the Trojans already lost.

Future Odds for Pac-12

The future betting odds for the Pac-12 Conference looked much different a few weeks ago than they do to this day. It appeared as if the league was wide open before the season began, but the Oregon Ducks have now emerged as a clear betting favorite.

Oregon is listed as the favorite to win the Pac-12 Conference at -125, and those odds have shortened considerably over the last few weeks. Arizona State, UCLA, and USC are next on the list at +700, but it would be a major upset if any of those teams won the conference championship.

It should come as no surprise that the Arizona Wildcats are last on the list to win the Pac-12 Conference with odds set at +100000. There would be a massive payout if the Wildcats did the unthinkable, but it’s simply not going to happen.
