The College Football season is winding down to it’s final days of the 2023 season. Obviously, so is the calendar for the year 2023. There are a ton of games after Christmas, and they ramp up in intensity and meaning following Christmas. Here are some of our Post Christmas College Football bowl games to bet on that are not part of the New Year’s Six:

Minnesota Golden Gophers -3.5 vs. Bowling Green Falcons; 39.5

The two teams get together in Detroit. The Golden Gophers are the only bowl team without six wins to be playing. Minnesota lost their final four games of the season. They will get a Bowling Green team that won their season finale against Western Michigan. Look for the physicality of the Big Ten’s Golden Gophers to shine through here. It was a nice season for the Falcons from the MAC, but in the end, Minnesota wins the Quick Lane Bowl iN Detroit.

Kansas Jayhawks -12.5 vs. UNLV Runnin Rebels; 64.5

One of our favorite bowl games of the whole season. The Kansas Jayhawks, led by head coach Lance Leopold had a really nice season, and are looking to finish strong. The Jayjhawks are welcoming Jalon Daniels back next season, and would love to see him finish in this game. Kansas, at 8-4, was one of the top scoring teams in the nation, with more than 33 points per game. UNLV will do their best to defend them. The Running Rebels played in the Mountain West Title game and gave up 44 points to Boise State. Look for Kansas to air the game out here in a thriller at Chase Field!

Louisville Cardinals -7.5 vs. USC Trojans; 57.5

No Caleb Williams for the USC Trojans. No Jawhar Jordan or Jamari Thrash for the Louisville Cardinals. We still think this is a good game. These two teams are both going to want to re-tool, as being just okay is not an option for either side. Both teams are full of talented football players, so we get a chance to see them. The total is set at 57.5 points, so they are excited for these teams to get near 30 points each. In the end, the spread seems too high, as we are prepared to see Lincoln Riley’s offense, and we know their defense is less than good.

North Carolina State Wolf Pack +2.5 vs. Kansas State WIldcats; 47.5

Nothing like the PopTarts Bowl from Orlando. Both power programs are losing their fair share of guys to the transfer portal. But, like we mentioned with Louisville and USC, they are going to have a ton of talent behind them. Look for Kansas State and North Carolina State to play different styles. The Wildcats are going to want to make this a shoot-out, while the Wolf Pack are okay with a possession by possession game. A battle of contrasting styles is what makes bowl games so fun!

Arizona Wildcats -3 vs. Oklahoma Sooners; 62.5

No one was more impressive late in the season than the Arizona Wildcats. Arizona  won their final six games, and now get a date on December 28th with the Oklahoma Sooners. Arizona is favorites nin this game, and they are expecting upwards of 60+ points in this game. The Sooners will be without Dillon Gabriel, who is transferring to Oregon.  Arizona will get another look at their star quarterback Jayden de Laura in this game, against an Oklahoma defense that has shown signs of struggles. Gavin Sawchuk, the Oklahoma running back, is going to run with a chip on his shoulder in this one, so the Wildcats will need to come prepared. This should be an entertaining football game!

We will be back for more next week, as we break down the College Football Playoff games, and talk about the New Year’s Six games. We are looking forward to these, and all the bowl games coming up over the next week or so. Good luck with all your College Football betting. Enjoy the games and Merry Christmas!
