One of the reasons that Bidwill was chosen to be a keynote speaker at this event is because his home state is one of the latest to launch legal sports betting. The first online sportsbooks launched in Arizona on September 9, which is also the same day that the 2021 NFL season began.
The Cardinals didn’t waste any time in jumping right into the sports betting scene as the team formed a partnership with BetMGM and Gila River Hotels & Casinos. Arizona allows for legal sports betting to be offered at professional sports stadiums, and State Farm Stadium will become one of the biggest and best options.
The NFL continues to be the biggest sports betting market in the US, and the Cardinals remain the most popular team in the state. There won’t be much data or information on what has taken place so far in Arizona, but the projections are staggering.
